Overview
Our client wanted to test their entire web application which was developed for their company to check the parameters of the products which were manufactured. They were doing different kinds of quality checks of the product such as the density of the component mixed in the product, temperature, colour, etc. One of the important aspects that needed to be tested was regarding the alert notification which was sent to the system to stop the production in case any error occurred.
The client needed to test his application on different OS and Browser combinations without any detailed documentation. They wanted to test the application in different regions such as French, Germany, Canada, etc.
The client also needed to confirm all the upgrades made from the previous release to the latest release without any issues. Furthermore, the clients demanded some of the new functionality to get tested which was made for future needs.
Business Need
The client was having an existing application that was developed by some company, delivering lots of incorrect results which was not acceptable by the team. The client wanted to fix all the functional issues for getting optimum output from the application. There were some UI responsive issues with some of the devices which are needed to be fixed.
Solution Provided
- By understanding the whole problem, we developed an application by exploring the features and clarify each of them by testing and getting the proper accurate result.
- High-level test cases are being prepared according to the client’s application.
- According to the client’s requirement, we have selected a specific combination of OS and Browsers for the testing.
- We have carried out the testing and find out the issues related to functionality and User Interface.
- We created a custom sheet for tracking where the status of executed test cases is being updated. The client received daily updates from this sheet.
- A report was generated and submitted to the client and developer with the list of issues which needed to be corrected in the application.
- In the end, after solving all the issues of the application a final report was generated and submitted to the client.
